This Privacy Policy explains how SevenSense (the "app") handles your information. The app is published by RaceTracs Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We have written it to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and Apple's and Google's privacy requirements.

1The short version

SevenSense does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no backend server. Everything the app stores stays on your device.

2Who we are

RaceTracs Ltd is registered in England and Wales under Company Number 16732423, with its registered office at Y Gwernen, Dryslwyn, Carmarthen, SA32 8SA, United Kingdom.

3Information stored on your device

The app stores your selected car — the model, engine and chassis spec you choose — in the app's private storage on your device only. This is kept so you don't have to pick your car again each time. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no access to it and cannot see it.

• It remains on your device until you change your selection or uninstall the app.
• It may be included in your device's normal backup (for example iCloud or Google backup), which is governed by Apple's or Google's own privacy terms, not ours.
• The torque and fastener reference data itself ships inside the app; it is not personal to you and is not collected from you.

4Microphone and voice search

SevenSense includes an optional "Ask Colin" voice feature. If you tap the microphone, the app asks your permission to use the microphone and your device's built-in speech recognition to turn what you say into text for the search box.

• Voice recognition is performed by your device's operating system (Apple's or Google's speech recognition), under their privacy terms — not ours.
• We do not receive, store or transmit your voice or the recognised text. The resulting text is used only to run your search on the device.
• The feature is optional. If you don't grant microphone permission, you can still type your questions normally.

5Information we never collect

We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers, usage analytics, or any other personal data. The app makes no network requests to us.

6Purchases

If the app is sold or offers a purchase, that transaction is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. We receive only anonymised, aggregate sales information from Apple and Google, which does not identify you.

7Children

The app is a technical reference tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

8Your rights

Because we do not hold any of your personal data, there is nothing on our side for us to access, correct or delete. You are in full control of the data on your device: you can change your selected car at any time, and uninstalling the app removes all of its data. Under UK GDPR you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
