These Terms govern your use of SevenSense (the "app"), a Caterham torque and fastener reference published by RaceTracs Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
SevenSense provides reference figures, not engineering advice
All figures in the app — torque values, bolt sizes, fastener descriptions and sources — are reference guidance only, transcribed from Caterham build and assembly manuals and engine manufacturer specifications.
You must independently verify every figure against the official manual for your specific car before use. Manuals, specifications and fitments vary between models, engines and chassis specs, and can change over time.
Check the bolt size shown against the fastener in your hand. If it does not match, stop — you may be looking at a different spec, and the torque figure may not apply.
Correctly torqued fasteners are essential to the safety of a moving vehicle. Under-tightening, over-tightening, using a figure for the wrong fastener, or applying a figure to the wrong car can cause fastener or component failure. RaceTracs Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from your use of — or reliance on — any figure produced by the app. You use the app at your own risk, and build and setup decisions are yours alone.
1Who we are
SevenSense is published by RaceTracs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number 16732423, registered office Y Gwernen, Dryslwyn, Carmarthen, SA32 8SA, United Kingdom. SevenSense is an independent reference tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Caterham Cars.
2Licence to use the app
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use SevenSense on devices you own or control, for personal or professional use. This licence does not permit redistribution, resale or sub-licensing.
3Purchase and refunds
Where the app or any feature is sold, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms.
- All purchases are handled by Apple or Google.
- Refund requests must be made to Apple or Google directly — RaceTracs Ltd cannot issue refunds for App Store or Play Store transactions.
- We receive only anonymised, aggregate sales information from Apple and Google.
4Your data
SevenSense is a standalone app with no accounts, no cloud storage and no server. Your selected car is stored only on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5Accuracy and sources
The app presents torque and fastener figures transcribed from published Caterham manuals and engine manufacturer specifications, with the source shown on each figure. While we take care with transcription, we do not warrant that every figure is complete, current or free from error, and figures may not cover every variant or modification. The app cannot know how your particular car is built. Where a figure is not confirmed by a source, it is not shown.
6Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaceTracs Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, or for loss or corruption of data.
7Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.
8Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
