Support
Need help, spotted a figure you think is wrong, or want a model or engine added? Email us and we'll get back to you, usually within two working days. If you're reporting a specific figure, tell us the car (model, engine, chassis spec) and the fixing so we can check it against the manual.

?Frequently asked
How do I set up my car?
Tap "Set your Caterham" and choose your model, engine and chassis spec. SevenSense uses this to show only the fixings that apply to your car and to pull the right engine-specific torques. You can change it at any time from the button at the top.
What if I don't know my chassis spec?
The chassis spec decides whether you're shown Imperial or Metric fixings. If you're unsure, check your build manual or the fasteners themselves — SevenSense shows the bolt size on every answer, so if the size shown doesn't match the bolt in your hand, you may be on a different spec. Drivetrain fixings (gearbox, bellhousing, engine, sump) are shown regardless of spec, because they're fixed by the engine and gearbox rather than the chassis.
Why does it ask for the engine separately?
Engine torques — crank pulley, flywheel, clutch, cam cover, bellhousing — differ between the X-Flow, K-Series, Sigma, Duratec, Vauxhall and Suzuki fitments. Selecting your engine makes sure you only see the figures that apply to it.
Can I ask by voice?
Yes. Tap the microphone in the Ask bar and say the fixing — for example "front lower damper" or "driveshaft nut". Voice input uses your device's own speech recognition; see the Privacy Policy for what that involves.
Nm or lb·ft — can I switch?
Each answer shows both the Nm and lb·ft figure where the manual gives them, so there's nothing to switch. Figures are shown in the units the source manual uses, and staged or angle-tightened bolts (for example "100 Nm + 90°") are shown as the manual states them.
Where do the figures come from?
Torque and fastener data is transcribed directly from Caterham build and assembly manuals and engine manufacturer specifications, with the source shown on every answer. Where a figure isn't confirmed in a source, it isn't shown rather than guessed.
Is SevenSense affiliated with Caterham?
No. SevenSense is an independent reference tool published by RaceTracs Ltd and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Caterham Cars. Always confirm safety-critical figures against the official manual for your car.
Where is my data stored?
The only thing SevenSense stores is your selected car (model, engine, chassis spec), kept in the app's private storage on your device. It's never sent to us. Removing the app clears it.
